Beyond the Catch Guide Service is a professional fishing charter operated and captained by Tommy Hicks. Beyond the Catch offers outdoor adventures on beautiful Lake Superior. BTC provides state of the art equipment and exceptional fishing both in open water and on the ice. 

Growing up in Ashland, Wisconsin, Captain Tommy Hicks has spent his life fishing the surrounding areas but concentrates on Chequamegon Bay and the Apostle Islands. These waters are known for it’s Coho Salmon, Whitefish, Brown Trout, Splake and TROPHY Superior Lake Trout. Captain Tommy has held his captain’s license and US Coast Guard Certification since 2013. Prior to owning and operating BTC, Tommy was first mate to Jim Hudson of On the Spot Guide Service. Beyond the Catch has carried on Jim’s legacy with expert knowledge and experience on the water.
